Hays Procurement & Supply Chain are recruiting a Procurement Manager for an established organisation within the healthcare sector.
This is a broad, hands-on leadership role with responsibility for procurement, purchasing, inventory and stock management across a multi-site operation. You’ll lead an established team while working closely with senior stakeholders across the business.
Your new role
Lead and develop the procurement and inventory team Manage day-to-day purchasing, stock and procurement operations
Oversee procurement systems and purchase-to-pay processes
Manage supplier relationships and support commercial negotiations
Identify savings and operational improvement opportunities
Maintain effective stock levels and continuity of supply
Support procurement strategy, audit and financial controls
What you'll need to succeed
You’ll be an experienced procurement professional with strong leadership, commercial and stakeholder-management skills.
Healthcare experience would be advantageous but is not essential. Applications are welcomed from candidates from other complex or regulated sectors with strong procurement fundamentals.
CIPS or a relevant degree-level qualification is preferred, alongside previous experience leading a procurement or supply function.
