Portfolio Procurement has been engaged by our Kent based client to recruit for a Procurement Manager.
You will be tasked with the strategic procurement of goods and services and ensuring all internal stakeholders are successfully advised and guided.
Key Responsibilities- To implement policies and procedures
- Plan and procure services, goods, and equipment
- Management of all supplier contracts
- Train and manage other members of the procurement team
- Work closely with internal stakeholders and resolve any queries
- Ensure that all required stock is on site when needed
- Maintain strong relationships with suppliers
- At least 3 years' experience in a Procurement department
- Previous management/leadership experience
- Must have worked in a highly regulated procurement department
- Strong negotiation and supplier management experience
- CIPS or Degree level qualification
