Location:
Maidstone (ME)
Salary: £121 - £130 per day (competitive, based on experience).
Overtime: 1.5x for evening and Saturday shifts, 2x for Sunday shifts.
Hours:
Monday to Friday, 7:00 am – 5 pm (9.5‑hour days). Overtime flexibility is required to work evenings and weekends, when needed.
Perform a variety of tasks on‑site, ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standard. Prioritise tasks and take responsibility for tooling, maintenance and safety procedures.
Task Management- Effectively manage and complete multiple tasks on‑site, ensuring all are completed within specified time frames and to the required standards.
- Prioritise tasks based on urgency and workload, ensuring duties are carried out efficiently as per Team Leader instructions.
- Assist in completing daily risk assessments, identifying and mitigating risks.
- Ensure daily tasks comply with safety procedures, including PPE inspections and equipment checks.
- Identify near‑misses and report via Procore.
- Attend Safety Forums to stay updated on protocols and best practices.
- Use monitoring equipment such as Reactec for HAVs monitoring.
- Ensure sites are safe, appropriately signed and barred to protect the public.
- Maintain own tooling and machinery, performing regular checks and maintenance in compliance with standards.
- Perform general troubleshooting of assigned machinery and tooling.
- Carry out routine maintenance, keeping all assigned machinery and tools in good working order.
- Report significant equipment issues to the appropriate person or department.
- Resolve minor on‑site issues promptly using practical solutions.
- Escalate problems requiring further action to the Team Leader or Supervisor.
- Complete all necessary site documentation on Procore, including tasks delegated by the Team Leader.
- Maintain accurate records, ensuring documentation is high quality and timely.
- Support less experienced or newer operatives, providing guidance and assistance.
- Lead by example, applying new knowledge from safety forums and on‑the‑job experience.
- Contribute to the smooth running of daily site operations, completing tasks efficiently and safely.
- Maintain a tidy and safe work area, ensuring a clean and organised site.
- Be aware of impact on the local community and end customer.
- Conduct courteous interactions with Customers, escalating issues appropriately.
- Direct Customer queries and complaints to the Team Leader and main office.
