with 3 days per week in the office.
Hours: Full Time – 37 Hours per Week,

Holidays: In addition to bank/ public holidays you will receive 28 days holiday
Base Salary: £43,151 - £48,812
per annum depending on experience

Being the Project Manager
Join Kent Fire and Rescue Service as a Project Manager, where you'll lead transformational initiatives in a flexible and supportive work environment
You’ll take responsibility for the management and delivery of medium complexity IT and business change projects throughout the full project lifecycle. From the initial scoping and requirements analysis through to the ultimate delivery of new systems and services into the organisation
What you’ll do- Plan, co-ordinate and manage all aspects of projects including organisational change and logistical elements such as training and roll out of new equipment to end users.
- Provide direction and leadership to the Project Team and allocate/manage work in connection with project activities.
- Ensure new systems and services are integrated into the existing environment with minimal disruption to the Service.
- Manage and monitor project budgets.
- Produce and maintain detailed proposals, plans and specifications to enable projects to be approved and progressed.
- Research and evaluate relevant technologies in connection with IT projects, assessing and recommending as appropriate to meet organisational business requirements.
- A recognised project management qualification at practitioner level. (e.g. PRINCE2, Agile, Waterfall)
- The ability to prioritise, plan and co-ordinate multiple projects of medium complexity over the short to medium term.
- Competent in using Microsoft Project to design and plan detailed project schedules and proficient in Microsoft Office suite software
- Good understanding of IT concepts, IT architecture components, planning, testing and implementation
- Excellent problem solving and analytical skills.
- Knowledge of effective use of project management methods, best practice, techniques, processes and tools.
- Experience of working with IT systems in a complex environment.
