Lead procurement that makes a difference to patient care.
KIMS Hospital is looking for an experienced and commercially focused Procurement Manager to lead our Procurement & Supplies function across KIMS and support our wider healthcare group.
This is a key operational leadership role, responsible for ensuring the effective purchasing, supply and stock management of goods and services across the hospital. You will lead a high-performing team, build strong supplier relationships and ensure we achieve best value, efficiency and service excellence, while keeping patient care at the heart of everything we do.
What you'll be doing- Leading the day-to-day Procurement & Supplies operation, ensuring timely purchasing and delivery of essential goods and services.
- Managing and developing the team, creating a culture of accountability, collaboration and continuous improvement.
- Overseeing stock management and provisioning, ensuring optimal stock levels while minimising waste and obsolescence.
- Building strong supplier relationships and supporting negotiations, contract management and cost-saving initiatives.
- Working closely with clinical and operational teams to ensure procurement delivers the right products, at the right quality and value.
- Supporting the implementation and development of procurement, purchasing and stock management systems.
- Leading initiatives including Scan for Safety, digitalisation and process improvement.
- Supporting procurement activity across KIMS and our sister sites within the group.
- Deputising for the Group Head of Procurement when required.
We are looking for an experienced Procurement & Supplies leader with a minimum of 3 years' experience managing a substantial procurement function within a regulated environment, together with a CIPS or degree-level qualification.
You will be a confident and inspiring leader with strong commercial awareness, excellent stakeholder management skills and a proven ability to lead teams through change.
Experience with in healthcare, or a similarly regulated environment, together with knowledge of purchasing, stores and supply chain management, would be highly desirable.
Most importantly, you will be patient-focused, collaborative and passionate about delivering continuous improvement.
