📍 Mereworth, Maidstone, Kent (ME18) | 💰 £27,000 per annum | 🕒 Monday-Friday, 8:00am - approx. 4:00pm (no late finishes)

A well-established and respected family‑run business based in Mereworth is seeking a reliable and hands‑on Band Knife Operator to join their friendly warehouse team.

The successful candidate will take full responsibility for operating the Band Knife / Slitter cutting machine within the warehouse.

• Operating a Band Knife (guillotine‑style) cutting machine
• Cutting and sizing large rolls of foam to specification
• Rolling, packing and preparing finished materials
• Supporting warehouse and driving team when required (loading assistance – generally light and team‑supported)
• Ensuring safe operation and maintenance of the machine
• Maintaining a clean and organised working area

• Experience operating a Band Knife and/or Slitter machine
• Confidence working with cutting machinery
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• A responsible individual who can take ownership of the machine
• Team player with a positive attitude

• £27,000 annual salary
• 22 days holiday + 8 Bank Holidays
• Christmas shutdown (5 days holiday to be retained for this period)
