Are you looking to start a genuine career in precision engineering and metal manufacturing?
Do you want to learn how high-quality engineered components are produced including exposure to CNC machinery within a supportive and experienced team?
We are working exclusively with a long-established specialist engineering manufacturer based on the outskirts of Maidstone who produce precision-engineered metal components for a variety of bespoke applications.
This is not a production-line environment. Each project is slightly different, requiring accuracy, care and attention to detail.
The RoleThis is a hands-on workshop position where you will learn every aspect of the manufacturing process from experienced engineers. Full training will be provided, but you must bring the right attitude and a genuine desire to develop technical skills.
You will be involved in:- Assemble and build precision-engineered metal components
- Work confidently with hand tools and workshop equipment
- Support the operation of CNC machinery and learn machining principles
- Read and interpret engineering drawings
- Understand tolerances and quality standards
- Contribute to a team focused on producing high-quality bespoke products
- Maintain high standards of quality and attention to detail
Over time, you will gain exposure to increasingly technical tasks as your confidence and capability grow.
