Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer

Up to £50,000 + Overtime. 4 on 4 off days only. Local to Kent, Dartford, Maidstone.

As a Multiple‑Skilled Maintenance Engineer, you'll play a key role in keeping production running efficiently across a busy, fast-paced manufacturing operation. You'll be involved in reactive maintenance, planned preventive maintenance, continuous improvement work and reliability‑focused engineering.

You'll be responsible for:

• Electrical and mechanical fault finding on production machinery
• Planned preventive maintenance across the site
• Supporting continuous improvement and root‑cause analysis activities, machinery upgrades, projects and site improvements
• Working closely with production teams to minimise downtime

This is a hands‑on role where your input will be valued, and where you'll have the opportunity to contribute towards ongoing site improvements and engineering developments.

• Conveyors, packaging machinery and ancillary equipment
• Automated and PLC-controlled production machinery
• Continuous improvement projects and engineering upgrades
• A site actively investing in new systems and technology

• Qualified engineer with strong Electrical and Mechanical skills (preferably Electrically biased)
• Experience with in FMCG, manufacturing, packaging or automated production environments
• Proactive mindset with a passion for problem solving and continuous improvement
• Someone who thrives within a fast‑paced manufacturing environment
