Team Leader – Injection Moulding
6am - 2pm Mon - Fri
An established and highly respected manufacturing business is looking to recruit an experienced Injection Moulding Team Leader to join its production facility in Maidstone.
This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on injection moulding professional who enjoys leading a team, improving manufacturing processes and driving high standards across safety, quality and production. You'll be joining a business that continues to invest in its people, technology and manufacturing capability, with a focus on employee well-being and sustainable manufacturing processes.

The Role:

As Team Leader, you'll take responsibility for the day-to-day running of the injection moulding department, ensuring production targets are achieved while maintaining exceptional standards of quality and safety. You'll lead a team of technicians, oversee machine set-ups, tool changes and process optimisation, and play a key role in reducing waste, improving efficiency and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
Working closely with the Technical and Quality teams, you'll also be involved in new product trials, root cause analysis, performance reviews and ensuring smooth communication across shifts. This is a varied role that combines strong technical knowledge with people leadership.

About You:

You'll have significant experience within injection moulding manufacturing and be confident setting machines, optimising processes and solving technical issues. Previous experience leading or supervising a production team is essential, along with a proactive approach to continuous improvement and health & safety.
Ideally, you'll hold an Engineering qualification (or have equivalent industry experience), be familiar with robotic cells and automated manufacturing environments, and have a solid understanding of ISO quality standards. Strong communication, organisation and problem-solving skills are equally important, as you'll be leading by example and helping to develop those around you.
