Overview

Right Match Recruitment Group is recruiting on behalf of a long-standing client based in Maidstone, Kent for an experienced 360 Operator. This is a full-time, temp-to-perm position with a well-established company. Day shift is 4 on and 4 off, with 12-hour shifts.

• Operate and maintain plant in a safe and responsible manner, mindful of all site users and visitors at all times.
• Assist in meeting production targets by optimising operations while working as a team with other operators and site staff.
• Report defects and issues with plant machinery and equipment to the Site Supervisor.
• Maintain constant communication with Supervisors and other Operators.
• Ensure all company procedures are followed, with a special focus on Health & Safety.
• Report all accidents and incidents according to company rules and assist with investigations as appropriate.

• Knowledge of waste and metals and suitable related processes.
• Good working knowledge and experience of associated plant and machinery with the appropriate tickets.
• Safety and environmental awareness across the industry and site permits.
• Ability to identify areas for continual improvement and to resolve issues.
• Willingness to take on additional workload to support the team while maintaining a positive attitude.
• Ability to work nationwide (travel as required).
• Strong understanding of plant and machinery, including daily inspections and servicing.
• Strong interpersonal and organisational skills.

• Competitive hourly rate of £16.27 per hour, depending on experience.
