Workshop Engineer – Maidstone
Salary: £30,000 – £40,000 basic salary + Overtime, manufacturer training, pension scheme and holiday allowance.
The RoleAs a Workshop Engineer, you will be responsible for:
- Servicing, maintaining and repairing heavy construction plant in the workshop.
- Diagnosing and repairing mechanical, hydraulic and electrical faults.
- Carrying out pre‑delivery inspection (PDI) work, inspections and machine preparation.
- Completing planned maintenance and major repairs to a high standard.
- Ensuring all work is completed safely and in line with manufacturer standards.
We are keen to speak with engineers from backgrounds such as:
- Heavy Plant
- Construction Plant
- Agricultural Machinery
- Material Handling
- Recycling Equipment
- Quarrying Equipment
- HGV or other mobile machinery
The successful candidate will have strong mechanical knowledge, good fault‑finding ability and a proactive approach to maintenance and repairs.
