We are seeking an enthusiastic, team‑oriented Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our practice at Wigmore Vets on a full‑time basis.
Wigmore Vets is located in a residential area in Wigmore, Rainham, Kent. Our busy practice offers excellent clinical exposure and a supportive team environment. We value staff development and work/life balance.
How You’ll Make a DifferenceAs a Registered Veterinary Nurse, you will be an integral member of the clinical team, delivering high‑quality nursing care to patients while supporting excellent client experiences.
General responsibilities include:- Assisting with surgeries and anaesthesia
- Ultrasound and X‑ray procedures
- Lab work
- Dental care
- In‑patient care
- Client communication
- Triage – working under the instruction of a vet, contacting clients, handling the emergency line, medication, and follow‑up consults, blood results and reporting
We’re looking for a confident and motivated Registered Veterinary Nurse who enjoys working as part of a team and delivering high standards of care. You’ll bring:
- Registration as a Veterinary Nurse with the RCVS
- Experience working in clinical practice, with growing confidence in medical and surgical nursing
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with clients and colleagues
- Good organisational skills and the ability to manage workload effectively
- A proactive approach to learning, reflection and continuous improvement

- Clear career pathways with progression opportunities into Senior Nurse, Referral or leadership roles, as well as clinical supervision, mentorship and certificate holders

Salary: up to £28,500 DOE.
Working hours:
4 days Monday‑Friday (8:30 am–6:30 pm) and Saturday mornings (8:30 am–12 pm).
