We are seeking an enthusiastic, team‑oriented Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our team at Wigmore Vets on a full‑time basis.
Location:
Wigmore, Rainham, Kent.
Practice:
Established and busy with excellent clinical exposure, including an in‑house blood machine and digital X‑ray machines.
As a Registered Veterinary Nurse, you will be an integral member of the clinical team, delivering high‑quality nursing care to patients while supporting excellent client experiences. You’ll work collaboratively with veterinary surgeons and the wider practice team, taking responsibility for the nursing care of a range of first‑opinion cases, contributing to clinical standards, and supporting the ongoing development of patient care within the practice.
Schedule:
4 days Monday‑Friday from 8:30 am to 6:30 pm;
Saturday morning rota covering 2‑4 between 8:30 am and 12 pm.
- Assisting with surgeries and anaesthesia
- Conducting ultrasounds and X‑rays
- Performing lab work
- Providing dental care
- Inpatient care
- Client communication
- Triage – working under the instruction of a vet, contacting clients, working on the emergency line, administering medicines and follow‑up consults, reporting blood results
- Registration as a Veterinary Nurse with the RCVS
- Experience working in clinical practice with growing confidence in medical and surgical nursing
- Strong communication skills and ability to build positive relationships with clients and colleagues
- Good organisational skills and ability to manage workload effectively

Compensation:
Up to £28,500 DOE + £1,500 Welcome Bonus.
