Registered Mental Health Nurse

Position: Registered Mental Health Nurse -  Flexible Shifts

Due to continued growth and our expansion into Maidstone and the surrounding areas, we are recruiting experienced and compassionate Registered Mental Health Nurses (RMNs) to join our flexible agency team.
As an Agency RMN, you will provide safe, professional and person-centred nursing care to individuals with a range of mental health and associated support needs.
About the Role
As a Registered Mental Health Nurse, you will work within the requirements of each placement, supporting individuals with their mental health, safety and overall wellbeing.
Your responsibilities may include assessing and monitoring mental and physical health, administering medication, maintaining accurate clinical records, contributing to care planning and risk management, responding appropriately to changes or concerns and providing professional support to the wider care team.
You will be expected to maintain therapeutic and professional boundaries, communicate effectively with individuals and other professionals, and follow safeguarding and escalation procedures.
As an agency RMN, you will need to be adaptable and confident working within different environments while maintaining high standards of professional practice.
What We're Looking For
We are looking for RMNs who are calm, professional, reliable and confident supporting people with a range of mental health needs.
Applicants must:
 
* Hold current NMC registration as a Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN)
 
* Have relevant recent UK mental health nursing experience, with a strong understanding of safeguarding, risk management, medication and clinical documentation
 
* Be willing to complete Onpoint Care's induction, mandatory training and any required competency assessments
 
* Have an Enhanced DBS, satisfactory employment references and the Right to Work in the UK
