Our client, an established business within the fmcg sector is looking for a dedicated Quality Controller to join its growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a keen eye for detail and a passion for maintaining the highest quality standards.

The Role
As a Quality Controller, you will play a key role in ensuring that products meets quality, safety and customer specifications before it reaches customers.

Key Responsibilities
 
* Inspect products for quality, appearance and specification compliance.
 
* Identify and report defects, damage or quality concerns.
 
* Monitor storage conditions.
 
* Complete accurate inspection records and quality documentation.
 
* Assist with product sampling and quality testing.
 
* Work closely with colleagues to investigate and resolve quality issues.
 
* Ensure compliance with health & safety and company quality standards.
 
* Support the training of new team members where required.
About You
We're looking for someone who:
 
* Has previous quality control experience, ideally within the fmcg sector.
 
* Understands storage and inspection processes.
 
* Has excellent attention to detail and can identify issues quickly.
 
* Works well as part of a team and communicates effectively.
 
* Can thrive in a fast-paced environment.
 
* Is committed to maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
 
* Holds a driving licence (preferred).
Working Hours
 
* Alternating weekend working is required.
 
* Shifts are typically 10–12 hours, with flexibility to work longer during busy periods.
