Senior Sous Chef – Fresh Food Gastro Pub – Lenham, Kent – live-in available nearby
Our client runs several countryside gastro pubs across Kent and Sussex. Each one focuses on fresh food, local produce and seasonal menus. The kitchens work with nearby farms१८, fisheries, and growers. Guests return for relaxed dining, Sunday roasts, pizzas and dishes that highlight ingredients. About the role- Supports the Head Chef day to day
- Runs the kitchen in their absence
- Helps design seasonal menus
- Leads service on busy shifts
- Trains junior chefs
- Helps manage ordering, stock and GP
- Provides live-in at a nearby pub
- Salary £32,000
- Tronc around £7,000
- Clear route to Head Chef
- Strong support from senior team
