About the Role

We are looking for a reliable, friendly, and hardworking Kitchen Assistant to join our busy school catering team. This is a great opportunity to work within a supportive school environment and enjoy a good work-life balance with term-time hours.

Key Responsibilities

Assisting with the preparation of school meals
Serving food to pupils and staff in a polite and efficient manner
Helping maintain cleanliness in the kitchen and dining areas
Washing up and general cleaning duties
Following food hygiene and safety standards at all times
Supporting the Catering Manager and wider kitchen team as needed

What We're Looking For

Previous experience in a kitchen or catering environment is helpful but not essential
A positive attitude and willingness to learn
Ability to work as part of a team
Good communication and organisation skills
Reliability and a strong work ethic
Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)
