The position of Retail Technical Manager will give you full accountability for key product categories, acting as the technical lead across retail accounts and supplier networks. Although this role does not include direct team management, you will have the opportunity to influence both customer and supplier performance.

• Lead technical relationships with retail customers and suppliers, ensuring product quality, compliance, and clear communication
• Proactively address quality issues or complaints, providing timely recommendations and solutions
• Oversee product specifications, documentation, and supplier compliance with customer standards
• Support new product development and technical initiatives that enhance quality, consistency, and innovation
• Collaborate with commercial, procurement, and product teams to align technical delivery with business strategy

• Proven experience in Fresh Produce, with retail-facing responsibilities
• Strong knowledge of product specifications, quality standards, and supplier management
• Professional, approachable, and confident when engaging with stakeholders at all levels
• Highly organised, self‑motivated, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment
