As we continue to grow, we are looking for an experienced Senior Sales professional to help drive revenue, build long-term partnerships, and play a key role in shaping our commercial success.

The Role

This is a senior, customer-facing sales role for someone who understands the builders merchant world and thrives on building relationships and winning new business. You’ll be responsible for developing key accounts, identifying growth opportunities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with contractors, developers, and trade customers
  • Drive sales growth across existing and new accounts
  • Identify and secure new business opportunities within the region
  • Negotiate pricing and manage margins effectively
  • Work closely with purchasing and operations teams to ensure excellent customer delivery
  • Provide market insights and feedback to support strategic decisions
  • Support and mentor less experienced sales team members
  • Represent Kent BM with professionalism and a customer-first mindset
About You
  • Proven experience in a senior sales role within a builders merchant or related construction supply environment
  • Strong network within the local construction or trade sector (highly desirable)
  • Commercially minded with strong negotiation skills
  • Confident relationship builder with excellent communication skills
  • Driven, self-motivated and results-focused
  • Able to work in a fast-moving, entrepreneurial environment
