Area Sales Manager – Decorative Cladding

A field‑based territory sales role promoting a leading range of decorative cladding and external façade systems. Develop relationships with merchants, distributors, contractors and local developers.

Package:

• ~£45k basic salary with a £9k bonus scheme (paid quarterly, with up to £18k achievable with over‑performance)
• Hybrid company car

Territory: South East, focusing on Kent, Surrey & Sussex.

• Promoting a leading range of decorative rainscreen cladding for the residential new build and refurbishment sector
• Managing and developing relationships with national and independent builders' merchants and specialist construction distributors
• Delivering product training, trade day support and conducting joint customer visits alongside merchant and distributor sales teams
• Tracking and winning residential new‑build and refurbishment projects with contractors and local developers
• Ensuring all won projects are back‑sold through your distribution network

• Field sales experience within the construction industry (building materials, heating, plumbing, KBB, interiors, electrical)
• Strong relationship‑building and communication skills
• Professional, organised and structured approach to territory management
• Self‑motivated, commercially aware and comfortable working independently in a field‑based role
• Positive attitude and strong motivation
