Bodyshop Advisor

We are recruiting on behalf of our client for the position of Bodyshop Advisor/Estimator in Maidstone, Kent. The ideal individual will possess strong customer service skills and a dedication to delivering outstanding vehicle repair support.

• Uncapped earning potential with OTE up to £42,000 per annum
• Competitive basic salary between £32,000 and £36,000, depending on experience
• Permanent, full-time role working 42 hours per week with sociable hours (Monday to Thursday, 08:00 - 17:00; Friday, 08:00 - 16:30)

• Welcome customers in a courteous and professional manner to ensure a positive experience
• Handle incoming customer and insurance enquiries, arranging bookings and appointments
• Communicate regularly with customers regarding repair progress and additional work required
• Provide accurate vehicle repair estimates and upsell bodywork and wheel repair services where appropriate
• Process invoices and ensure full payment prior to vehicle collection
• Liaise with internal teams to maintain seamless communication and process compliance
• Manage customer complaints and issues efficiently to ensure swift resolutions
• Maintain accurate records and update dealership database consistently
• Assist in building and maintaining customer relationships to promote satisfaction and loyalty

• Previous experience in a customer-facing role within the automotive or bodyshop sector is desirable
• Strong customer service and communication skills as the Bodyshop Advisor
• Ability to handle enquiries professionally and with attention to detail
• Full driving licence with a clean driving record
• Organisation skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently and accurately
• Knowledge of vehicle repair processes and estimates (preferred but not essential)
