About the Role
We are looking to recruit an experienced Welder / Pipefitter to join a well-established and growing mechanical services business. The role will involve fabrication, installation, and welding of pipework and associated mechanical systems across a variety of commercial and industrial projects.

Key Responsibilities
* Fabricate, assemble, and install carbon steel, stainless steel, and mild steel pipework
* Carry out welding duties using methods such as TIG, MIG, and MMA (Stick) as required
* Read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and isometric drawings
* Install mechanical pipework systems to a high standard, ensuring accuracy and quality
* Carry out site-based welding and pipe fitting works in line with project specifications
* Ensure all work is completed safely and in compliance with health & safety regulations
* Work collaboratively with project managers, engineers, and other site trades
* Complete work within agreed timescales and to required quality standards
* Maintain tools, equipment, and PPE in good working condition
Skills & Experience Required
* Proven experience as a Welder / Pipefitter within commercial or industrial environments
* Competent in TIG welding (essential); MIG and MMA experience advantageous
* Experience working with carbon steel and stainless steel pipework
* Ability to read and work from technical and isometric drawings
* Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship
* Understanding of site health & safety procedures
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* CSCS card preferred (or willingness to obtain)
* Full UK driving licence preferred
