We are currently recruiting an experienced  HGV Driver (Class
2)  to join our client in Paddock Wood, Kent. This is an excellent opportunity for a reliable and professional  Category C Driver  looking for a stable, ongoing role with a competitive pay rate and the potential to secure a permanent position.

Location:

Paddock Wood, Kent
Pay Rate:  ⭐  £17.50 per hour (PAYE)

Hours:

Monday to Friday | 08:00 - 17:00 | No weekends

Contract:

Ongoing temporary with a temp-to-perm opportunity

The Role

As an HGV Driver, you will be responsible for operating a Class 2 / Category C vehicle for local deliveries and collections across the region. This role would suit an experienced LGV Class 2 Driver, Cat C Driver, or Rigid Driver who enjoys a varied role combining driving and yard-based duties.

Responsibilities

Carrying out local deliveries and collections (depot to depot) as required

Assisting in the yard during quieter driving periods

Moving pallets safely and efficiently around the yard

Supporting loading and unloading activities

Conducting daily vehicle checks and ensuring full compliance with road safety regulations

Working closely with the wider team to ensure smooth daily operations

What We're Looking For

Valid Class 2 (Category

C) licence

Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card

Previous experience as an HGV Driver, LGV Driver, or HGV Class 2 Driver

A positive, flexible attitude and willingness to assist with yard duties

Good knowledge of driver compliance and road transport regulations
