Maidstone | Immediate Start | Temp to Perm

We are currently recruiting for an Experienced Bus Driver to join a well-established bus operator serving the Maidstone, Medway, Tonbridge, and Weald areas.

This is an excellent opportunity for drivers with previous experience on rural routes
, who are confident navigating tight and narrow country roads
. We are specifically looking for drivers with a background in rural bus operations rather than solely city-based bus services.

• Monday to Friday: £14.50 per hour
• Saturday: £15.00 per hour
• Sunday: £15.50 per hour

• Operating scheduled bus services across Maidstone, Medway, Tonbridge, and The Weald.
• Driving a variety of local service routes.
• Providing excellent customer service to passengers.
• Completing daily vehicle safety checks.
• Maintaining high standards of road safety and professionalism.

• Start times between 06:00 and 07:00
• 12-hour shifts
• Working 5 to 6 days out of 7
• Weekend work required as part of the rota
• 11 days worked out of every 14-day period
• Ongoing opportunity with the potential for a permanent position

To be considered, you must have:

• A valid Category D (Bus) Licence
• A valid Driver CPC Qualification Card
• Minimum 6 months' bus driving experience
• Previous experience driving on rural routes and narrow roads
• No more than 6 penalty points
• Strong awareness of road safety and passenger care
• The ability to work weekends as required

• Aged between 25 and 70
• Reliable, professional, and customer-focused
• Comfortable driving large vehicles through rural and challenging road networks
• Looking for long-term, stable employment

Competitive pay rates up to £15.50 per hour
