If you are a highly motivated individual with business tax preparation experience, excellent communication skills and an active, unrestricted credential (CPA/EA/Practicing Attorney), we need you to help our customers complete their taxes using Intuit Turbo Tax Business products.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing complex business tax returns for Partnerships and S Corporations. The ideal candidate will possess a strong knowledge of federal and state tax laws and regulations for business and personal tax returns, as well as significant experience in preparing and filing business and personal tax returns.

• In this role, you will help our customers complete their taxes using Intuit Turbo Tax products using sound professional judgment, and in an excellent and timely manner.
• Provide tax advice, full service return preparation, tax calculations, and manage product/software inquiries.
• Maintain sensitive customer, confidential and/or proprietary information in a responsible, reliable, and safe manner.
• Utilize government websites, professional resources, and team expertise to seek out and deliver the right answer to the customer using everyday language.
• This is a virtual, customer-facing role; you will be using our state of the art video communications software to interact with customers.
• Assist Turbo Tax Business customers who are working on their tax returns or have delegated their tax returns with:
• Tax advice
• Full service business return preparation and signature
• Product/software inquiries
• Tax calculations
• Filing tax extensions
• Create high quality customer interactions and experiences that instill confidence using deep customer empathy and extensive knowledge in business tax preparation and accounting
• Utilize and leverage government websites, professional resources, and team expertise to seek out and deliver the right answer in everyday language
• Apply defined practices, procedures, and company policies to troubleshoot and resolve customer tax advice and tax return preparation
• Document customer interactions
• Work toward meeting company key performance metrics and Big Bet Goals
• Participate in pilot testing, projects, and experience validations as needed

• Strong business tax preparation experience and extensive knowledge of tax laws with 3+ years of recent experience preparing federal and state business tax returns (1065 and/or 1120-S) for at least 20 clients per season using commercial tax preparation software
• Minimum of 2 seasons of personal tax preparation experience, with a minimum of 30 tax returns per tax year in a tax practice or retail setting
• Available to work a minimum of 20 hours per week, spread across three or more days
• Bookkeeping experience with books to tax preparation is strongly preferred
• Experience preparing business tax returns for service industry clients is strongly preferred
• Must possess or be able to obtain related state licenses, certificates, permits, or bonds
• Must possess an active PTIN
• Working knowledge of Circular 230
• Proficient with technology; solid knowledge of computer operations and software
• Strong customer service skills; ability to interact with customers through video and audio tools professionally and confidently
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Critical thinking, problem solving, research skills, and determination
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
• Must have (or be willing to obtain) internet connection that meets security criteria
• Must reside in the United States

Intuit provides a competitive compensation package with a strong pay-for-performance approach. The base pay range for this position varies by location, including:
