Overview

Pratt & Whitney is working to transform the future of flight—designing, building, and servicing engines unlike any the world has ever seen. We’re seeking an individual to drive transformation from within by leading Quality Investigation initiatives.

What You Will Do
  • Coordinate the Escape Management Process, facilitating cross‑functional Problem Resolution Teams; manage customer returns, population bounding, root cause investigations, and corrective action follow‑up.
  • Improve RCCA proficiency across the organization.
  • Publish and support clinic metrics, maintaining CORE discipline and certifications; maintain Quality Clinic and individual certifications.
  • Foster relationships with internal and external stakeholders (Quality Engineers, Procurement, Program Quality, Product Recall, DCMA, etc.).
  • Publish Clinic, Escape Metrics, and Control Tower updates.
  • Manage aged restricted inventory.
Qualifications You Must Have
  • Bachelor’s degree and at least 5 years of experience in engineering, manufacturing operations, quality, or a closely related industrial environment; or a Master’s degree and at least 3 years of experience in the same fields.
  • Familiarity with the 8D investigation process.
  • Knowledge of Six Sigma, LEAN, and other continuous improvement tools.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, and SAP.
  • U.S. citizenship required due to government contracts.
Qualifications We Prefer
  • Certification in Red‑X, Six Sigma, or a similar data‑driven problem‑solving approach.
  • Knowledge of CORE tools and non‑conforming material management processes.
  • Project‑management, presentation, and strategic communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, influence, and collaborate across all levels of the organization.

In addition to transforming the future of flight, we are also transforming how and where we work. The salary range for this role is $82,000‑$164,000. RTX considers factors such as role, function, responsibilities, experience, location, education, and skills when extending an offer.

Hired applicants may be eligible for benefits, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short‑term and long‑term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, employee scholar program, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays. Benefit details depend on the business unit and whether the role is covered by a union agreement.

Annual incentive compensation programs may apply depending on level and union status. Pay structure and benefits will follow U.S. territory guidelines if applicable.
