Sargent is an employee-owned earthwork construction company that traces our beginning to 1926 in Alton, Maine. Job Type: Full-time

Pay:
From $18.00 per hour based on experience

Essential Job Functions:

• Assist Quarry Foreman and craftspeople in the performance of their duties.
• Hand shoveling, greasing and general labor work around quarry.
• Lift, carry and hold building materials, tools, and supplies.
• Operate various tools, water truck and small equipment.
• Report to Plant Manager or other supervisor observed or known OSHA/safety violations.
• Clean tools, equipment, materials and work areas.
• Operate water truck within the confines of the yard for dust suppression.
• General labor work around quarry – painting, mechanic work, etc. with proper training.
• All other tasks assigned by Quarry Foreman.

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• Driver's License (Required)
