Winthrop, Maine: A thriving outpatient primary care practice invites a friendly and compassionate Family Medicine Physician to join a well-established team in this scenic lakeside community just 10 miles west of Augusta and 1 hour from Portland. This practice is operated by a respected nonprofit healthcare system anchored by a modern 190 bed regional medical center serving more than 65,000 residents of the Kennebec Valley.

Join a collaborative outpatient team of experienced physicians and APPs in a well-established practice in a modern and comfortable standalone facility offering a full range of primary care services. Mental health support is available onsite through care management and counseling. You will enjoy a broad scope practice caring for patients across the lifespan with opportunities to add areas of special interest (such as osteopathic manipulation, minor surgery, acupuncture, sports medicine and MAT for opioid use disorder).Your

weekday schedule will include 32 patient contact hours, plus 8 hours of designated administrative time. Shared call is handled by phone only. Hospitalists in Augusta manage all inpatient care. The health system hosts an unopposed Family Medicine Residency Program so opportunities to teach or precept may be available.
