Redington Fairview General Hospital is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Anesthesiologist to join our medical team. In this role, you will provide safe, high-quality anesthesia care for our surgical and procedural settings. You’ll collaborate closely with surgeons, nurses, and other clinicians to ensure optimal patient outcomes and an exceptional care experience.
Position Overview- Administer general, regional, and local anesthesia for surgical and non-surgical procedures
- Evaluate patients preoperatively, including medical history review and anesthesia risk assessment
- Monitor patients during procedures to ensure safety, comfort, and stability
- Manage postoperative pain and oversee recovery from anesthesia
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant medical documentation
- Participate in call 1:4 call rotation
- Joining 3 full-time Anesthesiologists and 1 full-time Nurse Anesthetist
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree
- Completion of an accredited Anesthesiology residency program
- Board Certified/Board Eligible in Anesthesiology (eligibility timeframe set by the Anesthesia board)
- Valid and unrestricted Maine state medical license (or eligibility to obtain)
- Strong clinical judgment, communication skills, and attention to detail
- Commitment to patient safety, teamwork, and continuous learning
- Current ACLS & PALS

The annual salary range for this position is $575,000-$600,000, based on relevant education, qualifications, and experience.
