Description:
We are looking for a locum cardiologist to provide coverage on a one-week-on, one-week-off basis.
The start date will be as soon as credentialed.
The physician will be responsible for providing stress testing coverage, graphics interpretation, in-patient consultations, and procedures.
This position includes both in-patient care and testing responsibilities.
The schedule will start and end on Thursdays at 5 PM.Monday through Friday, the physician will be on-site from 8 AM to 5 PM.Night call responsibilities will begin at 5 PM on weekdays and will continue through the night.
Weekend call will cover 24 hours from 8 AM to 8 AM on Saturday and Sunday.
After-hours and weekend calls can often be managed over the phone, with minimal expectations for in-person visits unless necessary.
Travel requirements will include standard lodging and standard rental car arrangements.
The physician must have experience in using EMR systems.
The provider must complete all credentialing requirements prior to the assignment.
Additionally, the provider will need to answer specific questions regarding their professional history and experience.
