Overview
Jacksonville State University (JSU) is seeking adjunct faculty members in the Department of Family and Consumer Sciences to teach courses in the program areas of Child Development, Child Life Studies, Human Sciences, Hospitality and Culinary Management, Merchandising, FCS Education, and Career Technical Education at the undergraduate and/or graduate level. Courses are offered in-person, hybrid, and online with experience in all three instruction methods preferred.
The adjunct faculty member will be responsible for lectures, attendance, exams, grading, and meeting university deadlines.

- 18 credit hours in the specific desired teaching area or training and experience in the field to be qualified to teach specific courses.
- Experience with in-person, hybrid, or online instruction

- Teaching and/or conducting action research either at K-12 or higher education levels
