MSAD 6 is seeking a dynamic Elementary Teacher to join the instructional staff at HB Emery Elementary School in Limington, Maine, for the  school year.

Responsibilities:

• Create a flexible instructional program and a class environment favorable to learning and personal growth.
• Establish effective rapport with students assigned to the classroom.
• Motivate pupils to develop attitudes and knowledge needed to ensure effective learning occurs for each child.
• Respond to a wide range of inquiries from students' parents or guardians regarding instructional programs and student progress.

Qualifications:

• Degree(s) required in major area of study.
• Maine Department of Education certification with a #020 endorsement.
• Experience related to the instruction of students of similar age and in the subject area(s) to be assigned.
• Demonstrated positive, professional relationships with students and colleagues.
• Evidence of a strong desire to work with school-age youth.

Salary and benefits may be found on the District website in the Agreement between the MSAD 6 Board of Directors and the Saco Valley Teachers Association.
