Bridge Crossing Academy has an immediate opening for Ed Tech III/Teacher’s Aide in our Special Purpose Private School Program which serve students K – 8. Ed Tech III/Teacher’s Aide is responsible for classroom support including: assisting students with lesson assignments, planning and preparing teaching aids, and coordinating instructional efforts with the school team.
Qualifications include Maine certified Educational Tech III and willingness to complete the Behavioral Health Professional certification (BHP). Strong organization and communication skills are necessary; ability to instruct, assume and delegate responsibilities, and exercise decision making is also required. The ideal candidate will be flexible, engaging, energetic and creative and have the desire to be part of a team of professionals. Background in Special Education and experience working with students with social and emotional needs are a plus.
