Location: Fort Kent
Temporary School Social Worker (LCSW or LCPC) – school year.
Maine School Administrative District No. 27 serves 840 students in grades PreK-12 from St. Francis, St. John Plantation, Wallagrass, New Canada and Fort Kent, ME. The district includes Fort Kent Elementary School (PreK‑5), Valley Rivers Middle School (6‑8), and Fort Kent Community High School (9‑12).
Responsibilities- Provide counseling and support services to students, building strong relationships with families.
- Serve as part of the District Guidance/Counseling staff.
- Manage casework for 504 students.
- Advise the Student Support Team as necessary.
- Act as liaison to community agencies to coordinate needed services.
- LCSW, LCPC, or conditional LCSW license.
- Successful background, criminal record, fingerprinting and reference checks.
