Seeking a highly qualified teacher to join our 1st grade team as a long-term substitute teacher.
Responsibilities- Develop and implement lesson plans aligned with state and school standards
- Create a positive classroom environment with an established classroom
- Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of students
- Utilize technology and innovative teaching methods to enhance learning
- Assess and monitor student progress through various evaluation methods
- Communicate regularly with parents, colleagues, and school administration
- Bachelor's degree in Education or related field
- Candidate must hold a valid State of Maine teaching certification with 020 elementary endorsement
- Experience teaching elementary students (preferred but not required)
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
- Passion for working with children and fostering a love for learning
