Student Success Coordinator Houlton Middle High School
Houlton Middle-High School (HMHS) is seeking a Student Success Coordinator to join our team. This position is central to fostering a supportive and engaging learning environment for all students. We re looking for a dedicated professional who is passionate about helping students thrive, both academically and personally.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee student discipline in collaboration with HMHS Administration.
- Monitor and track daily attendance and tardiness.
- Serve as the school s Affirmative Action Officer and Title IX Officer.
- Assist in facilitating parent communication and engagement initiatives.
- Lead Comprehensive School Threat Assessment Guideline (CSTAG) teams.
- Serve on the District safety team.
- Support staff with daily duties and other tasks as assigned by the Principal or Assistant Principal.
- Current Maine Teaching, Counseling, or Administrative certification is preferred.
- Law enforcement experience is also preferred.
- A strong background in restorative practices and Multi-tiered System of Supports (MTSS).
- Proven experience in supporting students with challenging behaviors.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to foster positive relationships with students, staff, and parents.
Proper Maine DOE certification and background check required for all positions
