Warsaw Middle School is looking for a dynamic, student-centered, and compassionate individual willing to work with students on an individual/small group basis. This individual will develop a rapport with students and help provide a safe space for them to land while they are position will entail helping set students up with daily routines that include morning check-ins and afternoon check-outs, as well as helping students develop skills and stratagies that will assist them in regulating their emotions.
The goal of this position is to help reduce barriers for students and support them in being successful in the school setting.
Warsaw Middle School is a 5-8 middle school that is part of MSAD #53, which serves the towns of Burnham, Detroit, and Pittsfield. Warsaw Middle School fosters the social, emotional, and academic growth of all students by adhering to middle school philosophy, promoting integrated units of study, and having a strong advisory program. Warsaw is located in Pittsfield – the heart of Maine.
This is a thriving and diverse community that boasts premier medical and manufacturing facilities as well as unique and quaint small businesses. Pittsfield is also home to Maine Central Institute as well as a variety of social and cultural organizations.
Ed. Tech III salary is based on experience and is outlined in the MSAD #53 Support Staff Collective Bargaining Agreement. This position includes benefits. Safety Care training is required and can be provided by the district. Interested candidates should visit MSAD
