Description:
Yarmouth Elementary School, which serves students in grades 2 through 5, has an opening for a second‑grade long‑term substitute teacher. This position will start on April 27, 2026, and finish in June 2026. A background in Responsive Classroom, Science of Reading Literacy Practice, Everyday Math, and Inquiry‑Based Science is a plus.
The Yarmouth School Department, located ten miles north of Portland, Maine, serves students in kindergarten through grade 12 in four schools and is consistently recognized among the highest‑performing school districts in Maine, with two National Blue Ribbon School awards since 2018.
