Area Security Service Technician- Bridgewater ME

Overview

Join Sentrillion as a Full-Time Area Security Service Technician in the Bridgewater, Maine area. This position can be remote and targets experienced satellite, telecom and computer hardware technicians in a federal environment. Salary: $47,000 – $58,000.

• Maintain computer and camera surveillance systems across a specified geographic region, including managing computers, data networks, digital video cameras, recorders, power supplies, and fiber optics.
• Install, update, and maintain hardware and software; ensure asset accountability and maintain detailed maintenance records.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex hardware and software issues using advanced electrical theory and diagnostic tools; calibrate and adjust electronic equipment to specifications.

• High school diploma or GED;
  Associate s Degree in Information Technology or related field preferred.
• Solid foundation in computers, data networks, digital video systems and fiber optics; basic electronics principles.
• Strong understanding of telecommunications systems (transmission, broadcasting, switching, control).
• Familiarity with circuit boards, processors, chips; experience with hardware and software applications; ability to use, repair, and maintain various machines and tools.
• Ability to obtain and maintain government-issued security clearances, valid driver s license, and travel approx. 75%.
