Location:

Oxford, ME. Requisition .

• Assume overall responsibility for a designated pit or area and be able to answer questions regarding gaming service activities; safeguard company assets and direct dealers on designated games.
• Oversee and report unusual occurrences to the Shift Manager.
• Maintain awareness of activities of all games in assigned locations to observe and act on suspicious or irregular activity.
• Monitor player limits, special customers, gains/losses, and dealer performance for each game.
• Direct games in progress by monitoring and providing assistance and dealer correction.
• Change gaming supplies (e.g., cards and dice) as needed.
• Ensure dealers assigned to the section comply with Table Games Department policies and procedures.
• Maintain high standards of customer courtesy on each game and work with casino staff to support this.
• Perform other duties as assigned; ensure daily operations and cleanliness of the casino floor.
• Maintain proper table bank through fills and credits.
• Perform table games department activities in accordance with internal controls and minimum standards.
• Learn additional games as required by management.

• Sound technical understanding of game manuals, policies, procedures, and knowledge of the games supervised; ability to identify cheating techniques.
• Completion of game training programs (if offered) with proficiency in several pit games; typically at least two years of multi-game dealing experience.
• Ability to maintain confidential information.

• Comprehensive knowledge to be certified on all table games assigned.
• Must be Title 31 and Problem Gambling certified, and attend annual training.
• Knowledge of company and department policies and internal controls.
• Ability to walk and stand for extended periods.
• Ability to observe play from the middle of the pit to the table and observe dealers from a distance.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to move around the pit area to observe play at all tables.
• Prefer a minimum of 2 years dealing experience.
• Excellent customer service and verbal communication skills.

• Attend required training sessions offered.
• Perform duties in compliance with local laws and regulations.
• Take steps to ensure minors are not allowed to gamble or loiter in gambling areas, or to drink alcohol or purchase tobacco where prohibited.
• Know all applicable ordinances, regulations, laws, policies, and procedures for the department.
• Consult Internal Control Procedures and Policy Manuals for guidance.
• Report illegal activity to Security or appropriate management levels.

Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, up to 10 pounds of force frequently, and a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects. The role may require long periods of standing, walking, and reaching.
