Within the GCAP Joint Venture, in the Financial Operations team, we are looking for a
** Senior Finance Manager
** for GCAP HQ in
** Reading (UK).
** The person we identify will be responsible for:
* Manage all financial accounting processes, including month-end close, consolidation, and reporting activities;
* Own key controls over the financial reporting cycle such as reviewing journals and Balance Sheet reconciliations;
* Prepare and/or review statutory accounts for the relevant legal entities within their remit, and ensure consistency in the application of accounting standards and financial processes across all jurisdictions;
* Review and/or produce papers documenting significant accounting judgements. Review and/or prepare the journal entries for the one-time transactions and those supporting materials when required;
* Act as primary day-to-day point of contact for the rest of the Finance function and for statutory auditors as technical accounting subject matter expert;
* Manages consolidation processes across entities and intercompany accounting.

*** Significant experience and knowledge of operational Finance processes, best practice, and performance at scale;
* Sufficient technical knowledge of IFRS, FRC guidance, as well as statutory requirements applicable to the companies in UK, Italy and Japan;

** La persona si occuperà delle seguenti attività:
* Gestire tutti i processi contabili finanziari, inclusi la chiusura di fine mese, la consolidazione e le attività di reporting;
* Assumere il controllo delle principali attività del ciclo di rendicontazione finanziaria, come la revisione delle scritture contabili e le riconciliazioni del bilancio;
* Preparare e/o revisionare i bilanci statutari delle entità legali di competenza, assicurando coerenza nell’applicazione degli standard contabili e dei processi finanziari in tutte le giurisdizioni;
* Revisionare e/o produrre documentazione che illustri giudizi contabili significativi. Revisionare e/o preparare le scritture contabili per operazioni una tantum e i relativi materiali di supporto, quando richiesto;
