Role overviewThe US Markets Junior Accountant role will support the accounting activities on the 4 US Markets financial operation. This role requires a proactive attitude, meticulous attention to detail, focus on the result and in meeting deadlines, and great communication skills to effectively liaise with both finance and non‑finance stakeholders across multiple geographies.
Key responsibilities- Perform accounting entries covering general ledger, accounts payable and partners invoicing.
- Support the closing processes.
- Support in vendor and partners queries resolution.
- Manage the accounting workflows.
- Reconciliation of balance sheet accounts and other controls.
- Expenses booking and control.
- Banking control, reconciliation, cash management and forecast.
- Support and provide information as required for audit processes.
- Support the business in financial related matters.
- Capex and events spend support and control.
Experience and technical skills
- 1/2 years of experience in international accounting teams, preferably in the hospitality industry.
- English fluency, written and spoken.
- Degree in Accounting or similar.
- Advanced MS Excel.
- General accounting principles knowledge, USGAAP and IFRS are valuated.
- Experience in SAP, Beanworks and Expensify are a plus.
