Under general supervision and according to established policies and procedures, perform a variety of neurodiagnostic studies, which may include electroencephalogram (EEG) recordings and evoked potentials (EP) recordings (visual, auditory, somatosensory, and motor). Perform long‑term monitoring in the Neurotrauma ICU units and Epilepsy Monitoring Units; conduct Wada studies during angiography procedures; manage intra‑operative monitoring (electrocorticography); perform motor and sensory brain mapping with intracranial grid placement, and 48‑72‑hour ambulatory EEG monitoring (setup and take‑down).
Complete daily billing, report faxing, filing, database archiving, and database management. Participate in subspecialty work and assist in training technical personnel as needed.
