Description
Come work for the largest Ready-mix company in the state, a proven leader in Ready Mix Concrete. Auburn Concrete currently has a position open in dispatch out of our Topsham, Maine location dispatching for the Midcoast region. Auburn Concrete has just celebrated 26 years in business as a family owned company. We currently have 9 Ready Mix locations in the state with a quarry to provide us with aggregate material and we continue to grow.
As the Ready Mix Dispatcher, you will have 15 trucks out of the three Midcoast locations with a total of 50 ready mix trucks across the company to draw from when needed by working with the other regional dispatchers. The Topsham dispatcher will be located in Topsham, dispatching for three locations, Topsham, West Bath and Damariscotta. This is a customer friendly role, with customers calling in orders and requesting information on material, pricing and delivery.
In this role you will work closely with Senior leadership, QC, yard staff, and ready mix drivers to provide efficient distribution of our product. You will also work with operations, finance and human resources and report to the regional manager on-site. The successful candidate must have the ability to multi-task in fast-paced and dynamic environment. Must also be available to work overtime and an occasional weekend day as needed.
As the Ready Mix Dispatcher, your primary responsibilities are:
- Managing the day to day operation of dispatching our Ready mix concrete from plant to project.
- Taking orders over the phone.
- Providing excellent customer service.
- Must be technology savvy.
- Good communication skills both written and oral.
- Forward thinker, team player and leader.
