Goodwin Chevrolet Oxford, part of the Goodwin Motor Group, has served Midcoast Maine for over 90 years. We are looking for an experienced General Sales Manager to lead our sales team and drive results.

• Coach the sales team on closing techniques and lead profitability.
• Lead showroom activities and maintain product knowledge.
• Ensure high customer satisfaction scores and analyze metrics.
• Hire, motivate, and monitor the sales team’s performance.
• Conduct daily and weekly sales training meetings.
• Mentor staff on standard performance methodologies.
• Ensure follow‑up of future buyers via a CRM systemli>
• Establish delivery procedures, monitor execution.
• Guarantee delivery includes introduction to service and first‑service scheduling.
• Achieve forecasted dealership and OEM sales, gross, and key expense targets monthly and annually.
• Back up and cover F&I as needed.

• Minimum two years of sales manager experience.
• Proven ability to build and train a sales team, strong CSI scores, and above‑average gross and net profits.
• Previous F&I experience.
• Strong background in showroom building and internet traffic.
• Experience in used vehicle purchasing, merchandising, and marketing.
• Expertise in supervising desk managers and improving F/I income through mentorship and training.
