What You Will Do
  • Provide leadership and guidance to a multi-skilled group of team members engaged in the manufacture and repair of jet engine components.
  • Ensure employees are adequately trained and work in a safe and environmentally sound manner.
  • Execute fair business decisions, conduct annual performance reviews, hold regular toolbox meetings, provide two‑way communications, and apply policy/work rules consistently while communicating organizational goals and objectives.
  • Bridge business objectives across three operating shifts and be available on all shifts.
  • Support all legal obligations such as United States Government contracting and FAA policies and procedures.
  • Make modifications in systems and processes to solve problems or improve the effectiveness of the work area.
Qualifications You Must Have
  • A Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 2 years experience in an engineering, continuous improvement/process improvement, manufacturing operations, or closely related industrial environment—OR an Associate's degree and 4 or more years experience in the same fields.
  • In absence of a degree, a High School Diploma/GED and a minimum of 6 years experience in the same fields.
  • Experience using Microsoft Office.
  • Working knowledge of shop practices, processes and procedures.
  • U.S. citizenship is required.
Qualifications We Prefer
  • Understanding of CORE/Lean manufacturing concepts.
  • Prior experience in a supervisory or team lead capacity.
  • Demonstrated skill and success in team leadership, facilitation, and coaching skills.

Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite, including all production and maintenance workers essential to the development of our engines.

Salary range:
USD 66,000 – 130,000
. The range is a good‑faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function, associated responsibilities, a candidate’s experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
