Machine Operator 1st Shift

Pay: $18.63/hour
Shift: 1st Shift | 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM (Monday–Friday)
Duration: 1+ year assignment

.

Machine Operator responsible for operating manufacturing equipment and performing specialized production tasks to produce standard or custom products.

• Operate press production, braid winding, lathe, or crimping machines
• Perform general machine shop and press operations
• Read and follow blueprints, diagrams, and written instructions
• Record production counts (good and scrap parts) accurately
• Use basic hand tools (screwdrivers, drill guns)
• Maintain workstation inventory
• Perform quality checks and report defects
  
  Adjust machine settings as needed
• Troubleshoot basic quality issues
• Follow all safety, quality, productivity, and housekeeping standards
• Report safety concerns, hazards, and near misses
• Perform other duties as assigned

• Lift up to 35 lbs regularly
• Perform repetitive tasks
• Stand, sit, bend, stoop, and reach up to 25% of the time
• Manual dexterity required
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team
• Regular attendance required

• Constant noise

• Hearing required (hearing aid permitted)

• Machine Operator experience preferred
• Ability to read measuring devices (tape measure, gauges)
• Basic math and reading skills
• Must speak and understand English
• Ability to follow directions
• Experience using basic hand tools
