Responsibilities
- Operate the automated case packer robot.
- Use computer console to configure SKU settings.
- Observe product moving through conveyor system to detect defect packaging, misalignment, and correct as needed.
- Supply robot case packer with shippers.
- Stop equipment to clear jams.
- Inform lead and/or supervisor, or maintenance, of any equipment malfunction.
- Maintain records related to production, including date codes and product labels.
- Follow all SQF principles pertinent to your position as specified by the SQF Practitioner.
- Report all food safety and human safety concerns to appropriate personnel such as QA technician, Safety Manager, FSQ Manager, etc.
- Embrace change productively and handle other tasks as assigned.
- Perform sanitation processes within the packaging area, including Ambient, Spiral Chillers, and Binoveyor rooms using standard chemicals such as chlorinated products and sanitizers.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Physical Demands
While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to stand; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to walk, sit; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and taste or smell. The employee is occasionally required to climb or balance. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 6 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 40 pounds.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
