Tex Tech Industries is currently looking for a Dryer Operator in our Wet Finish Department at our North Monmouth facility on our 2nd shift schedule 3pm to 11pm, must have the ability to train on our 1st shift.
Base pay range$22.13/hr - $22.13/hr
Job Responsibilities- Responsible for transporting materials to the dryer.
- Making all proper settings (speed, temperature, width, etc.) on dryer.
- Maintain close surveillance of material entering dryer to make sure of the proper pin setting.
- Take frequent width measurements of material entering and exiting the dryer.
- Maintain accurate and neat records of each cut, verify correct manufacturing card for the cut.
- Check dryer for mechanical condition periodically during each shift as well as minor maintenance of the dryer (oiling chain, replacing broken pins, etc.)
- Keep dryer area clean, neat and orderly.
- Must be able to cross-train on other Wet Finish equipment.
- Previous manufacturing experience is a plus.
This position requires frequent lifting, frequent standing and walking for up to 8 hours a day - with twisting, kneeling and bending. Must have fine motor skills and manual dexterity along with good vision and be able to distinguish color variations.
Shift Schedule2nd shift M-F 3pm to 11pm. Must be able to train on 1st shift from 7am to 3pm.
LocationNorth Monmouth facility at 105 N. Main St, North Monmouth.
