Manufacturing Operator MODS Weekend Shift; Onsite

Job Summary

1 day ago – Be among the first 25 applicants for a Manufacturing Operator – Newington, NH. Pratt & Whitney is seeking a Weekend Shift Operator (Friday–Sunday 3×12 hour shifts, 6:00 am–6:30 pm). The role provides 3 weeks of training and 4–8 weeks of on‑the‑job experience.

• Read operation sheets, part travelers, BOROPS, and oral instructions to set up and operate NC milling/grinding machines, vertical turret lathes, and VTCs.
• Perform routine production operations on weldments and assemblies.
• Verify conformance of finished work to specifications using precision measuring instruments.
• Obtain operator certification to accept or reject parts.
• Maintain machines by performing required total preventive maintenance (TPM).
• Collaborate with engineers, quality assurance, programmers, and other production personnel to resolve machining problems and assist in part process development.

• High School diploma or GED.
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.

• 1+ year of manufacturing, automotive, or related trade experience.
• Ability to make computations involving decimals and fractions.
• Ability to manage multiple competing priorities simultaneously.
